Lauren had her 1st day of school today! She is going 2 days a week and has been so excited about going. The school is right next to Daddy's new office so we go by it a lot and she yells "my school". Today she met her teacher and some new "friends" in her class. She had a good day and her teacher loved her. She asked if Lauren could stay longer because she was so fun to have in class. It is so nice to hear sweet things about my sweet girl. She really is an amazing little girl.
We have survived the first day of school at our new schools. Josh and Matt are at the same school. They both seem to like it. It is a much bigger school than we were at previously. The 1st day of school fell on Matt's birthday as well. Matt is officially 10 and in the double digits. After making through the big day we went out to a great pizza place in our new town. Nonni and Uncle Paul also joined in the celebration and joined us at the restaurant. Living closer to family has its perks.
Jake started the 2nd grade in a separate school. He had lots of neighborhood kids at the bus stop which is also a new thing for us. Everyone has been really nice and welcoming. Jake is warming up to his new school. His teacher last year was probably the best teacher I have ever met so she is a hard act to follow.
Glad to hear that the kids are all adjusting to new schools! Starting school can be hard enough with out having to change schools on top of it... They are troopers for sure!
ReplyDeleteAnd Lauren in school now too! I bet she loves it as much as Allie does. It was hard for Allie to be home when the boys went back this year, so I finally decided to enroll her in a Pre-K program as well and she loves it!
Lauren is just as beautiful as can be! You can just see her sweet personality jumping off those pictures at ya. Adorable!!!
How nice to hear that Lauren loves her new school and her teacher thinks she is wonderful!! But of course she is!! What a beauty too! Love the first day of school pics and I love those boys!

We have been SO set with the names of Lukas and Sophie, but just a few hours ago I learned of something that means we are not able to use the name, Sophie:( The important part however is that we are moving forward and I keep thinking will we have a boy or a girl? There are times when I say, hmmm, both, then reality check.
ReplyDeleteYour kiddos are growing so!!!! I couldnt believe how much Lauren has grown and in Nursery School!!! Her hair is beautiful, isnt, so much fun to style? I loved doing this for miss K after our two boys.
Do hope you are all cont to adjust to the new area and loving the proximity to family, it does make such a difference. Take Care...
