We had a fantastic time picking blueberries with Nonni, Auntie Suzie, Uncle Paul, and cousins William and Ryan. We went out to lunch after where the young and the nap-needy gave us a run for our money. All in all...a great day.

Beach pictures

We are really enjoying our summer at the beach this year. The weather has been FANTASTIC and we are taking full advantage of all the great beach days. I had the kids sit up by the dunes at the end of the day to take their picture. I took over 50...and these were the best. It is NOT easy to get all 4 to look at the camera(happily) and it is not always Lauren that is not looking/smiling.

Love these pictures of Lauren.

Josh

Jake and a little attitude.

My beautiful beach crew.

I am still working on getting a good picture of Matt.

ps. In the time that I was editing this post Lauren has, climbed on to the kitchen table, gotten into the beach bag and decorated herself with baby powder and written on the coach with a pen and found another pen and drawn on the floor! FYI- Oxy Cle@n M@x Force got the pen out. It's all good :)

Happy 4th of July!

We celebrated Independence Day at the beach. We watched the parade with all the little kids. Lauren, William, and Ryan getting ready for the parade with Nonni, Auntie Suzie and Uncle Paul. Phil brought the boys and their decorated bike over to be in the parade. It was VERY fun to watch them ride by and throw candy to the crowd.

Lauren's first 4th of July!

Jake and his decorated bike at the end of the parade.

My patriotic crew!

It was sooooo hot. Jake enjoying his Popsicle:)

Later that day we enjoyed time at the beach. We watched the fireworks on the beach that night too. It is so fun. This year we had our new beach friends with us at the beach and all their friends too. It was very fun for the boys. We went through all 144 of he sparklers that I bought:)

Hope everyone else enjoyed their 4th of July.

Matt's Model Rocket Launch

Matt enjoyed a model rocket bulding camp. This is the final day. We went to the park and launched the rocket.

Rocket set up.

At the ready with Mission Control.

Blast off!

The battle droid that was sent up with the rocket. It survived but was a bit smokey.

Very Fun!!!

Jake's Half Birthday

We tried something new this year. Jake's birthday is just 4 days after Christmas and we had a friend party and a family party in December. We made a deal that we(Mom & Dad) would give him his big present on his 1/2 birthday this year. We did this, partly because Santa had already gotten him what he really wanted for Christmas and we thought it would be nice to have a special day to look forward too not so soon after Christmas. I think he liked it. He was very excited to get the new Lego H@rry Potter wii game.

Half birthday cake:)

Jake Graduates from Kindergarten!

Josh's Concert

The end of school is such a crazy busy time. I am just now getting to post some fun we have had.

Josh learned to play trumpet this year. He practiced a lot and performed in the 4th grade band concert in June. Here is a shot of part of the band.

Josh: Sitting down, 3rd boy in playing trumpet. I wish I had a picture of just Josh and his trumpet.
